Raised in small-town, rural southern Michigan, Carl developed a strong appreciation for land, property ownership, and long-term value early in life. While he is an avid outdoorsman—having hunted in 13 states and 2 provinces—his professional expertise is firmly rooted in identifying, evaluating, and maximizing income-producing real estate.

Carl is an experienced real estate investor with a primary focus on self-storage. Over the course of his career, he has owned and operated 10 self-storage facilities across five states, giving him firsthand experience with acquisitions, dispositions, underwriting, market analysis, and operational performance. This real-world investment background allows him to guide clients through complex transactions, whether they are purchasing their first income property or expanding a multi-state portfolio.

He currently resides in Olivet, Michigan with his wife Jessica, their daughter Jordyn, and their five dogs—three Labrador Retrievers and two Beagles. The Carter family lives in a barndominium overlooking their own hunting property, fully embracing the rural lifestyle Carl helps clients invest in and enjoy.
